These specifications describe the illustrated SUS304 stamping and polishing case. Define project dimensions and attachment requirements in the drawing.
| Product example | Decorative surround for luggage and bags |
| Case material | SUS304 |
| Manufacturing process | Stamping and polishing |
| Case surface finish | Polished; project appearance requirements per drawing or agreed reference |
| Visible structure | U-shaped frame, formed side walls and mounting holes |
| Drawing requirements | Sheet thickness, frame profile, corner geometry, flange heights, hole datums and mating clearances |
| Assembly information | Mating bag structure, mounting surfaces, fasteners and backing components |
| Acceptance requirements | Final formed dimensions, polished appearance and any agreed assembly checks |
The illustrated part is a U-shaped decorative surround for luggage and bags. This case uses SUS304 with stamping and polishing. The frame has formed side walls, an open central area and mounting holes on its faces. Use the photograph to identify the example, then define the required shape, interfaces and appearance in your project drawing.
Specify the sheet thickness, frame profile, corner geometry, flange heights and hole locations. Include the mating bag structure, mounting surfaces and any separate fasteners or backing components in the assembly information. Mark the datums and clearances needed to inspect the finished formed part and verify its fit.
Identify the visible faces, contacting edges and surfaces that mate with other components. State the polishing and appearance requirements, including any areas where the finish must be controlled for fit. Confirm the inspection requirements for the final formed and polished condition during drawing review.
Send the part and assembly drawing revisions, required material and finish, quantities and requested delivery date. Include mounting details, appearance acceptance requirements and any assembled functional checks. The photographed decorative surround does not establish a lifting capacity or an approved handle-support connection.
Provide both the frame drawing and a view of the mating assembly. Dimension the hole pattern from defined datums, show the installed orientation and specify the required clearance or fit at each mounting surface. Identify the fasteners and any backing components separately. A photograph or outside frame size alone does not define the hole positions or the attachment arrangement.
Define an appearance reference and the acceptance method for the visible surfaces. Identify cosmetic faces, polishing direction if relevant, permitted marks and the viewing conditions used for inspection. If surface roughness is a requirement, state it on the drawing with its measurement method. Agree any sample approval before production review; the case finish does not establish a mirror grade or a universal appearance standard.
Provide the intended load path, attachment details and assembled test conditions before treating the frame as part of a lifting connection. Include mating materials, fasteners, backing parts, load direction and the required acceptance result. Define repeated-use testing separately when relevant. Evaluate the complete connection rather than assigning a load rating from the frame photograph or its material grade.
