The illustrated sheet-metal fan baffle has two circular openings, surrounding mounting holes and formed edge flanges. The metal panel is specified as SGCC with a stamping process. Define the grid across the openings separately from the sheet-metal panel in the assembly drawing.
Provide the fan outline, mounting-hole pattern, opening positions and required clearances. Define the panel thickness, flange geometry and mounting datums on the drawing. Include grid material, opening layout and attachment details so the panel and grid can be reviewed as individual components.
The SGCC panel example has no additional surface treatment. Specify the required material grade and any additional finish for your project, including visible surface requirements and areas to protect during handling. Agree the finish requirements for the grid separately.
A typical stamped-panel route includes blank preparation, opening and hole creation, edge forming and deburring, followed by drawing-based dimensional checks. Confirm the actual operation sequence and grid attachment method during manufacturing review.
Define acceptance criteria for hole positions, flange dimensions, panel flatness, burrs and assembly fit. Identify the critical fan interfaces on the drawing and specify any inspection report or sample approval requirements.
Send the panel and assembly drawings, material grades, thickness, grid requirements, finish requirements, quantity and inspection criteria. Include the mating fan details and any equipment-level performance checks required for approval. Send your project requirements.
Confirm compatibility against the fan outline and the assembly drawing. Check the mounting-hole pattern, fan position, clearances and access for assembly or maintenance. Include the fan drawing or an interface drawing with your request.
Specify the grid independently. The SGCC identification applies to the stamped sheet-metal panel. Define the grid material, opening layout, attachment details and inspection acceptance on the assembly drawing.
Performance approval requires the equipment requirements and agreed test results. Include any required airflow, thermal or electromagnetic compatibility checks in the project request. Agree who verifies the complete equipment before approving the panel for production.
