Detailed description

Custom Stamping Fabrication Small Metal Bracket

The gallery shows separate stamped bracket examples with different materials and hole layouts. Identify the example and component drawing in your quotation request so each material and assembly requirement can be reviewed in its own scope.

SPCC base-bracket example

The circular base-bracket example uses SPCC for the stamped sheet-metal plate. It has a central opening, formed contours and distributed holes with raised fastening locations. Define the mounting datums, hole positions, formed heights and mating surfaces on the project drawing.

SUS304 mounting-bracket example

The shaped mounting plate is a SUS304 stamped toll-machine bracket. Its visible features include an irregular outline, round and rectangular openings, slots and edge flanges. Define the installed orientation, interface locations and clearance requirements for the mating components.

Material, finish and separate components

Both illustrated sheet-metal examples have no additional surface treatment. Specify the required material grade and any project finish, including appearance and exposure requirements, on the drawing. Define separate inserts or fastening components, their materials, threads and installation details on the assembly drawing.

Drawing and manufacturing review

A typical stamped-bracket route includes blank preparation, hole and opening creation, forming, deburring and drawing-based inspection. Confirm the actual sequence for the selected part during manufacturing review.

Define acceptance criteria for mounting-hole positions, formed heights, flange dimensions, plate flatness, edge burrs and assembly fit. Identify which dimensions are checked in the final formed state, and specify the datums and any sample approval or inspection report requirements.

Prepare a quotation request

Send the selected part and assembly drawings, drawing revision, material grade, thickness, finish requirements, quantity and inspection criteria. Include mating-part information and the required assembly acceptance checks. Send your bracket requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the same material specification for both gallery examples?

Specify the grade for each component. The circular base-plate example is SPCC, while the shaped mounting-plate example is SUS304. If your project requires another grade, include it explicitly in the quotation request and agree it during drawing review.

Do the raised fastening locations identify a thread or insert type?

Define the thread size, insert or fastener selection and installation details in the drawing. The visible fastening locations do not establish a thread specification or a particular installation process. Include the mating fastener requirements with the assembly information.

How should I specify assembled fit and load acceptance?

Provide the mating-part drawings, assembly datums and required load conditions. Define acceptance checks for fit, formed heights and attachment points, and specify any sample approval or inspection report requirements before production review.
